Forbidden Pomegranate

yea, I know..... This batch isnt looking all too healthy just yet. It's more my fault than anything. I soaped too hot and I'm getting a little bit of oil seperation. We all know that alot of those sugary sweet fragrance dont like hot temps. You'd think that after more than 10 years of soaping I'd know this by now eh?? You know me......hard headed to the very core!

This fabulous fragrance is of course from www.daystarsupplies.com It's by far the juiciest and richest straight Pomegranate I've ever soaped, and Iv'e soaped tons of em. Again, this oil slick is my fault for soaping it hot and letting it gel too hot. I'm expecting the oil to reabsorb without any problems.

That red swirl that you see trying to make it's appearance was made with red oxide, with a titch of titanium dioxide and an even smaller titch of UM Blue. Fabulous red red. The beigy looking part of the soap, where that's just gel. It'll lighten up ALOT when it's back to room temp. I'll update the pics when these are cut because I'm sort of excited about the color... And do you see towards the top right of the soap itself, it sort of looks like a piece of paper or something just under the surface? I FINALLY figured out what it is!! It's the reflection of the stove light on the surface of the oil and hot gelled soap!! I'm such a dork.....but we know this....
